Uncanny x-men #9 rapidshare
How are the X-Men going to fight a mutant with two omega level power sets? X-Man is furious. X-Man kills the duplicate and makes Storm his newest Horsewoman. The X-Men are outgunned so Jean Grey plays a smart card; she telepathically summons all of the X-Men to join the fight. All they have to do is get there. Jean Grey planned on using Pixie to teleport the remaining X-Men to join the fight.
Armor approaches Jean and tells her she has a plan. For the first time in this series, Jean listens and trusts her. Armor creates a giant wrecking ball with her armor and puts Glob and Rockslide in it with her.
Meanwhile, Beast is talking to Anole trying to figure out why he stole the vial from his lab. Anole said that he was giving other mutants an opportunity to not end up like him I called that in my last review, by the way.
Beast gives Anole a disappointed look and tells him that he understands what Anole was trying to do. Beast has been dealing with all of that his entire adult life. While everyone is fighting, Senator Allen tries to escape. Apocalypse catches him and tries to kill him for what he was trying to do to mutant kind. Luckily, Kitty Pryde was there to phase the senator before Apocalypse could crush him.

While it's not a bad issue at all, a fine addition to the overall story, it also isn't one that you'll likely feel satisfied with on its own.
It's a piece of the larger puzzle in which case it passes but on its own, that's a debatable grade. Overall, this issue is not particularly noteworthy, but it does a fine job of raising the stakes as the arc reaches its conclusion. This issue and series continue to be content to just move along on the ideas of so many stories before it.
Everything from the art to the story to the characters come across as bland and cliched and I just want it to end so we can move on to, hopefully, bigger and better things. I know that each of the writers is capable of so much more, but maybe it's a matter of too many cooks" Read Full Review.
The quality of Uncanny X-Men remains wildly inconsistent, with this issue devolving into a wild, senseless fight scene. This story has been unfocused and detached and failing to invest readers early means the payoffs aren't paying off the way they should.
Issue really only got good towards the end. For some reason Storm became a horsemen. Wish we got a reason for it. The cliffhanger felt like a basic cliffhanger, wish they showed way more X-men there. Best part of the issue was the reveal with Jamie!
I thought this issue was pretty good, not much happens beyond a big fight. I've noticed a lot of hate for this series in certain fan communities and I mean, a lot of it is nitpicking. Like severe nitpicking. Anyway, this issue plays with some big themes, like generational mutants. The children and grandchildren of the X-Men have been feeling like the X-Men regard them less and less.
And that's the same reason Anole gives away the mutant vaccine. Also, apropos of that nitpicking I was referring to earlier But I simply disagree.
He flat out says that he understands why Anole did what th ey did, but it's a naive thing to do because they just gave the government a weapon. Where is the inconsistency there?
Beast has always struggled with his mutation, but it's clear what the government intends to do with it. Another one was that Kitty didn't get the senator far enough away.
They were on an island, she got him as far away as she could. What is the other solution there? Get him a raft to row away like Multiple Man did?
